Working on yard

When we bought our house, only the front and side yards were in. We started to work on the back yard two weeks ago. Chad put in the rock walls you see. He has done most all of the work. We are getting sod this week. With all the loose dirt flying around our house has been getting really dusty and needs to be dusted every day. There is a thin layer of dirt on everything inside. Our yard should look great soon.

The right side of the picture is what our yard looked like a few weeks ago. A slope of weeds and dirt. As you can tell from some of the first pictures, we now have two rock walls up.

Wilton Cake Decorating Class

One thing I have always wante to do is take a cake decorating class. I finally signed up. I just completed course 1 of three and next week I start the second course. Each course is Saturdays from 10-12 for a month at the Hobby Lobby just 3 min. from my house. Here are some examples of what we worked on during class. I love doing this!!!!

This was the final of the class. Yes, I have learned how to do roses, but still need a ton of practice.

My Sister. Stephanie and her 40th, Yikes.

The family had a surprise 40th Birthday for my sister Stephanie at our house. It really was not a surprise, but we all tried, she figured it out. I guess we can't pull one off on her. Welcome to the 4o's.

Over Easter break Chad and I went with Chad's parents out to Hawaii to visit Mike and Autumn. My niece Chelsea watched the kids and they had a blast with her and other cousins while we were gone. Here are some pictures of our trip.
